Paul Fergus is the President of Peak Performance Training/Accès au Sommet and has over twenty years of sales and management experience. Prior to Peak Performance, Paul held management positions at several successful computer and consulting organizations and has a BA.Sc. Honours' Degree in Consumer Behaviour, with a minor in business administration.

In addition to building and managing two successful companies with a sales increase of over 25% per year, Paul has helped many organizations improve their levels of productivity and performance including Merck Frosst, Sun Media, Fisher Scientific, Reitmans, Bathfitter, Scotiabank and Abbott Laboratories, to name a few.

As an internationally-known speaker, consultant and trainer, Paul delivers powerful programs on selling, team building, customer service, sales management, strategic planning, time management, managing change, motivation, personal and professional development. He is a certified instructor of the highly effective Insights training programs and a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS).

Sam brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and senior management in marketing, business development and sales to Peak Performance. In the course of his career he has developed an understanding of the principles that are required to grow sales and profits. He communicates these principles with clarity and humor.

His message is inherently credible. While employed by two different "traditional" companies that were facing flat markets and declining margins, Sam was the catalyst for implementing a business model that resulted in exponential sales growth and increased profits. He also employed a mentoring style of people management long before it was considered a good idea.

Sam has a passion for teaching and developing people - and it shows. He is an internationally acclaimed speaker and his seminars have often been described as "thought provoking" and "full of practical ideas". He has spoken frequently on Leadership, Sales Effectiveness, Strategy Development and Implementation and Creating Marketing Synergies.

In seminars, he employs a questioning style that makes ample use of humor and props. This helps create an atmosphere that results in the generation of new ideas and the questioning of long held assumptions. A graduate of Concordia University, Britta holds a Bachelor's of Engineering degree with a Communications major. She sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS), and is an active member of Toastmasters International, and the Canadian Society of Training and Development (CSTD). Britta speaks English, French and German, and has traveled the world spending time in numerous countries, which she credits as helping her to work very well with a variety of cultures.

Clients such as Siemens, Spar Aerospace, Toronto Dominion and Nortel Networks appreciate Britta's rare combination of analytical methodologies, creative thinking, organizational skills and the ability to quickly synthesize information. A very animated and enthusiastic speaker and facilitator and consultant, Michel has more than 22 years of extensive business and management experience with Bell ActiMedia Inc. and Tele-Direct Publications Inc. He's held senior positions in sales, training and education, publishing operations and telephone-company relations, to go along with a couple of years as an educator at the secondary school level.

Michel's positive approach to problem solving, leadership issues and team building has helped him orchestrate several successful corporate reorganizations and critical project implementations throughout his career. Co-author of sales training courses as well as builder of many high performance sales and production teams, Michel has earned recognition as a "people person" who ensures that there is never a dull moment where he is involved.

Michel holds several degrees, including an Honours degree in Physical & Education from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Bachelor of Education and Special Education degrees from the University of Ottawa.

Mike Landry

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Francis Xavier University and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of New Brunswick.

Mike's first job as a high school science teacher in Montreal, allowed him to begin to explore his passion for understanding and helping others. His sense of humor and his ability to create a dynamic and memorable learning atmosphere made him a favorite among the students and fellow teachers.

Following his teaching experience, Mike's interest in Medical and Health Sciences culminated in his pursuit of a career in the pharmaceutical industry. He enjoyed a lengthy and highly successful career with Merck Frosst Canada Ltd; having held positions of increasing responsibility, spanning 31 years, in Sales Management and Organizational Learning and Leadership Development.

He is considered by his peers to be a devoted educator, a talented facilitator and an effective coach and developer of people. His presentations and workshops are engaging, informative and practical; implementing "action learning" to ensure application to the business needs. Mike's areas of specialization include Sales, Sales Management, Coaching, Leadership, Stress Management, Teambuilding, Life/Work Balance, Mentoring and Motivation.

Christine strongly believes that the greatest corporate asset resides in its human resources. This is why she has dedicated more than 20 years designing, adapting and delivering training programs in leadership, communication, teamwork, performance management, time management, customer service and many others.

Christine has played a key role in corporate transformation. As a change agent she has encouraged team leaders and members to instill a customer-driven culture, to question their leadership styles and their communication models. She also has guided teams to become more self-directed and have a better control over their processes.

Christine had the privilege to act as a career transition counselor helping individuals realizing their full potential.

Her main customers are in the area of pharmaceuticals and telecommunications.

Michel Zarbatany-Hamel

Michel has a Bachelor of Commerce from Sir George Williams University (72-75) and has worked as director of sales and marketing for numerous companies, namely in the pharmaceutical and hospitality industries.

From 1977 to 1982, he was responsible for establishing ICI Pharmaceuticals (Zeneca-Astra-Pharma) in the province of Quebec. As director of sales and marketing,he was in charge of training and developing his sales team as well as developing and facilitating customized training programs.

From 1982 to 1987, he successfully started up Nordisk Canada (Connaught Novo Nordisk) in Eastern Canada. He developed the Canadian territory and trained his teams on sales and marketing, communication, customer service, time management and presentation skills.

He then moved on to market, promote and operate a family-owned resort, all the while re-engineering staff procedures and promoting performance improvement. He was also the recipient of the « Grand Prix in Tourism - Category Innovation » in 1990 which led to several television and radio appearances.

Michel's key attributes include versatility and innovation. He is able to generate enthusiasm in others, recognize people's strengths and essential qualities as well as instill a willingness to participate in a group environment.
